Lithium sulfur batteries have been recognized as one of the most promising energy storage systems for next-generation lithium batteries due to its high theoretical specific capacity (1675mAh g-1) and high energy density. However, the practical lithium sulfur battery system has many problems, including low utilization of active materials and rapid capacity fading. After few cycles, isolated Li2SX(1<X<2) can be found at the cathode surface and it can reduce the ion diffusivity. In this paper, we try to modify the cathode surface using sputtering method to improve the cycle performance. |
