제목 Plasmon-enhanced Dye-sensitized Solar Cells Using Ag-embedded Silica Particles
초록 We investigated the effects of localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) on the light harvesting efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Ag-embedded silica particles were incorporated into photoanode by mixing them to commercial TiO2 paste. The photoanode thin films that contain Ag-embedded silica particles showed higher light absorbance and reflectance than thin film composed of only TiO2. The enhanced light utilization resulted in improved performance of DSSCs. The overall parameters increased with amount of the particles. However excessive amount of the particles adversely affected the cell performance.
