In-siut grafting of carboxylic acid-terminated hyperbranched poly(ether-ketone) to the surface of graphite |
초록 |
Graphite is considered as highly prospective filler materials for advanced polymer composites due to the high aspect ratio, superior electrical and thermal conductivity. However, because of the small in-plane spacing of the graphite layers and the lack of the affinity for polymers, it is rather difficult to prepare the conductive graphite/polymer nanocomposites via direct intercalation method. To achieve nanoscale dispersion of graphite in polymer matrix, certain chemical or physical modification to the graphite is generally needed. Less destructive chemical modification of various carbon nanotubes in a mild polyphosphoric acid (PPA)/phosphorous pentoxide (P2O5) medium has been developed. We prepared graphite nanocomposite with carboxylic acid-terminated hyperbranched poly(ether-ketone)s in PPA/P2O5 medium. The nanocomposites that were introduced three-dimensional globular dendritic macromolecules are expected to display enhanced solubility, available multi-functionality, and so on. |
