제목 SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATIONS OF NEW WATER-SOLUBLE PHTHALOCYANINE-BASED BLUE COLORANTS FOR LCD COLORFILTER
초록 Color filters are a fundamental component of the thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) consisting of three-primary colors ; red, green, and blue. Recently, ink-jet printing method has been applied to the manufacturing of color filter and has afforded an efficient and economic process. Comparing the colorants of ink-jet printing method, the dye has better color saturation than pigment. However, the dye is difficult to adopt because of the restriction of thermal and photophysical resistance comparing to those of the pigment. Therefore, we need new high durable and water-soluble dyes to prepare the dye-based color filter using ink-jet printing method. In this study, we report the synthesis, physical and optical properties of new highly water-soluble copper phthalocyanine dyes bearing alkyl-amine linkage for blue color. Also, we analyze the influence of the alkyl-amine linkage on the color and physical property of phthalocyanines.
