| 제목 | Chitosan/PEG Films Cross-Linked by Genipin with Improved Physical Properties |
| 초록 | Cross-linked chitosan/PEG films were prepared using the solution casting technique. Genipin, which was used as crosslinker, overcomes the problem of physiological toxicity inherent in the use of common synthetic cross-linking agents. Both cross-linked and un-crosslinked chitosan/PEG blend films were investigated in terms of the mechanical properties and the stability in water. The equilibrium swelling of chitosan membranes, either crosslinked with genipin or not, increased linearly with the water content. The chitosan/PEG blend films showed the pH sensitive swelling behavior due to the chitosan component. |
