제목 | Characterization of electrospun aligned polymeric nanofibers |
초록 | Aligned nanofibers have potential applications in the field of composite materials, reinforcements, electrochemical sensing, blood vessel engineering and tissue engineering1-5. Several approaches have been introduced for the alignment of polymeric nanofibers. Researchers have explored novel methods including mechanical and electrostatic ways to continuously align polymer nanofibers. In this work, we use surface linear velocity of disk type collector for aligned polymeric nanofibers. A 20 wt% of nylong 6 solution that dissolved in mixing solvent of formic acid and acetic acid with 70/30 by volume ratio was prepared. Electrospun nylon6 nanofiber targeted on disk-type collector that rotated with 0, 5, 10, 15, 20 m/s of surface linear velocity. Fiber morphology was investigated with scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and crystalline properties were investigated with both differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide angle X-ray diffraction (WAXD). Mechanical properties of twisted yarn prepared from aligned nanofibers was also investigated.
