제목 Phosphorus Ligands for Iron (III)-Mediated MMA polymerization via Generation of Activators by Monomer Addition (GAMA) ATRP
초록 The iron(III)-catalyzed MMA (methyl methacrylate) polymerization via generation of activators by monomer addition (GAMA) for atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was successfully employed using DPMPP (diphenyl-(2-methoxy phenyl) phosphine), DPPB (2-(diphenylphosphino) benzaldehyde) as ligands in the absence of any additives .The effect of the solvent amount and initiators amount were investigated. It was proved that GAMA possesses advantages over normal ATRP especially with narrow polydispersity index (PDI)values. Most of the polymerizations with these two ligands were well controlled with a linear increase in the number average (Mn) vs conversion and relatively low molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn=1.2-1.4)throughout the reactions and the measured weights matched with the predicted values.
