In this study, π-conjugated polymer based on fused-ring containing heteroatom was synthesized for organic photovoltaic cells (OPVs). The backbone of polymer was composed electron donor and electron acceptor for intramolecular charge transfer stabilization. Also, thienoisoindoledione (TID) containing heteroatom was known to have a lower band gap energy, and this monomer can be expected good efficiency for OPVs. The compound structure was confirmed by using 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR, and measured physical properties with gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The optical and electrochemical behaviors were analyzed by UV-Vis and cyclic voltammetry. The devices were fabricated to investigate the photovoltaic characteristic. |
