| 제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Polyester/Clay Nanocomposite |
| 초록 | Clay is famous for a dispersing material in polymer nanocomposites and many researchers have applied it to prepare new polymer nanocomposite materials. Some studies on clay nanocomposite based on polyester matrix have been introduced. However, understanding on polyester/clay nanocomposites is still lacking at this moment. In this study, poly(butylene terephthalate)(PBT), poly(1,3-trimethylene terephthalate)(PTT), and poly(2,6-butylene naphthalate)(PBN) were synthesized with 1wt% Closite® 30B(Southern Clay) by conventional condensation polymerization. The intercalation of clay, non-isothermal crystallization, and the physical property of polyesters were studied and compared with each other. |
