제목 Design and synthesis of electron acceptor as a third component material for ternary polymer solar cell
초록 Organic solar cells (OSCs) have a numerous advantage such as flexibility, low cost, portability, semi- transparency. In the past two decades, photovoltaic performances of polymer solar cells have been improved by using the synergistic development of active layers, interfacial materials, and various morphology and device engineering techniques.
In this study, we designed a fused ring electron acceptor as third component material in ternary polymer solar cells. Many non-fullerene acceptors have been used as third components to fabricate ternary PSCs, most of which showed better PCE and stability than binary device. We expect the third component of an acceptor with a higher lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) could raise the open-circuit voltage (VOC) and the short circuit current density (JSC) with complementary absorption. Moreover, by introducing third component the crystallinity and morphology can be enhanced, leading to high photocurrent and fill factor in ternary PSCs.
