제목 | Photoluminescence of Li2ZnSiO4:Mn2+ Phosphor under Vacuum Ultraviolet Excitation |
초록 | Green emitting Zn2SiO4:Mn phosphor shows strong luminescence and high saturated color. But this phosphor has a relatively long decay time at the composition showing maximum emission intensity. It is possible to reduce the decay time by increasing the dopant content. There is, however, still a need for the improvement of emission intensity and decay behavior. In present work, Li2ZnSiO4:Mn2+ phosphors were synthesized by a conventional solid state reaction. The Li2ZnSiO4:Mn2+ composition is observed to exhibit green emission peaked at around 530 nm corresponding to 4T1→6A1 transition of Mn2+. The optimum Mn concentration in Li2Zn1-xSiO4:Mnx is x = 0.012, which is relatively low content compared to Zn2SiO4: Mn2+. In spite of low Mn2+ concentration, the decay time is similar to that of Zn2SiO4: Mn2+. On the other hand, the relative intensity of the Li2ZnSiO4:Mn2+ is about 90% of Zn2SiO4: Mn2+ green phosphor. |
