Conductivity and Cell Performance of Direct Bio-ethanol Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell |
초록 |
A hybrid catalyst-coated anode system for molten carbonate fuel cell, which is easy to manufacture and performs high voltage and good stability, was developed. The effect of catalyst layer on conductivity and cell performance was investigated with bio-ethanol as a fuel. The result showed that conductivity decreased with the increase of catalyst thickness. On the other hand, hydrogen selectivity was increased to a certain point with the increase of catalyst thickness. The optimum catalyst thickness was achieved at the coating amount corresponding to approximately 6 wt%. |
