제목 The role of Solvating Glyme Plasticizer on Ion Conduction and Thermal Property of Epoxy-based Solid Polymer Electrolytes
초록 Recently, extensive efforts have focused on the development of solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) having high mechanical and thermal performance without sacrificing ion conductivity. In this study, SPEs are prepared using a commercially available epoxy resin and a solvating electrolyte containing Li salt and Glyme. The cross-linkable epoxy resin can provide high-temperature stability and high mechanical property, and the solvating electrolyte is selected to maximize ionic conductivity. Since it is important to determine the appropriate levels of concentration between the epoxy and electrolyte, we investigate the effect of solvating plasticizer concentration on ionic conductivity and thermal stability of epoxy-based solid polymer electrolytes, using dielectric spectroscopy and TGA. Our study leads to insight regarding optimal design of multifunctional electrolytes for energy storage devices.
