Lipase Applied Treatment for Coated Broke |

The feed of coated broke leads to unbalance in the white water and short circulation system of the wet end. The largest problems are due to fluctuation of retention and formation of deposits. All these are emphasized by variations in the amount of broke generated and used. Most of the problems can be helped and solved by choosing a functional chemical system for both retention and deposit control. This requires a knowledge of chemicals and their usage however it is very difficult. Instead of conventional polyelectrolytes, bio catalyst enzyme could used as harmless functional agent for papermaking process. Effect of enzymatic hydrolysis of SB latex on the reduction of white pitch has been confirmed by some research result. |
