제목 Electrodeposited Pt to CO tolerance in PEM Fuel Cells
초록 We investigated the low Pt catalyst loading and CO tolerant anode by applying multi-layered catalyst structure with different loading methods. First, anode was prepared by spraying the catalyst slurry of 0.1 and 0.2 mg/cm2 (40% Pt/C) on gas diffusion carbon layer. Then, in order to control Pt particle size, Pt adlayers were electrodeposited with 0.09 mgPt/cm2 on prepared 0.1 mgPt/cm2 Pt/C. Electrodeposited Pt particles above 30 nm have rough surface which play an important role in CO stripping. In single cell test, anode with 0.09 mg/cm2 Pt adlayer (total 0.19 mg/cm2) exhibited better CO tolerance than 0.2 mg/cm2 Pt/C prepared by single spraying method.
