제목 Synthesis of various conjugated polymers for polymer solar cells
초록 Polymer solar cells’ power conversion efficiencies (PCE) is the product of short-circuit current density (Jsc), open-circuit voltage(Voc), and fill factor (FF) divided by the incident light power density. Great efforts have been made to develop new materials that improve polymer solar cells’ PCEs. A possible approach of finding new materials is the development of conjugated polymers with low band-gaps that can collect more sunlight. Charge mobility is also important for the improvement of photocurrent, and the active layer with appropriate morphology can aid efficient charge mobility. Recently, we have synthesized conjugated polymers containing various types of electron-rich units (e.g., carbazole, fluorene, naphthalene, phenothiazine) and electron-deficient units (e.g., thieno[3,4-b]thiophene, quinoxaline, tetrazine) in their backbones. Their optical and electrochemical properties will be presented along with their application in polymer solar cells.
