제목 Synthesis of Characterization of Novel Carbazole-based Light-emitting Copolymers Containing (Diphenylene)vinylene pendants
초록 Novel carbozole based copolymers synthesized by Suzuki coupling polymerization. (Diphenylene)vinylene and n-octyl was introduced at carbazole as pendants for reducing band gap and improving solubility, respectively. Thermal, photoluminescence and electro-luminescence of copolymers studied for applying the emitting layer. Maximum UV-vis absorption wavelength and PL emission wavelength of copolymers showed 333nm~340nm and 409nm~496nm at solution state, respectively. The relative quantum yield used 9,10-diphenylanthracene as reference showed 25.8%. These copolymers exhibited not only high thermal stability (Td=350°C) but good film forming ability and luminance. And they were obtained for voltages lower than 8V and the onset voltage is observed at 4.0V.
