Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Solar Cells from Multilayered Films of PEDOT and CdS Nanoparticles |
초록 |
Multilayered photovoltaic devices were prepared sequentially by electrochemical polymerization and spin-coating method. PEDOT:PSS film was spin-coated on ITO glass. PEDOT films were formed by electrochemical polymerization in an electrolyte solution of ethylene dioxythiophene (EDOT) and n-dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (DBSA) in water. The film thickness was controlled by applying constant potential for different times. CdS nanoparticles were synthesized from a reaction mixture containing cadmium and sulfur in oleylamine. CdCl2 in oleylamine was heated at 90 ℃ to generate Cd-oleylamine complexes and then sulfur in oleylamine was injected into the complexes. The resulting mixture was heated to 140 ℃ for 20 min. CdS nanoparticles (10 nm) synthesized in oleylamine were spin-coated over PEDOT film and then PEDOT film was uniformly formed over CdS layer by electrochemical polymerization. It was expected to stack (PEDOT/CdS)n films on top of an (ITO/PEDOT:PSS) film. This multilayered structure will increase interfacial area, charge transportation route and dispersion of nanoparticles within exciton diffusion length. The structure and performance of device were characterized by TEM and Keithley 2400, respectively. |
