제목 Formation of a two-dimensionally well-ordered monolayer of a peptide oligomer by a simple spin-coating process
초록 Well-ordered polymer thin films on surfaces have attracted great attention as a novel class of materials because of their potential applications in various fields. In particular, unlike other media, substrates induce the development of well-ordered peptide structures because they promote the assembly of a stable, ordered conformation. In the present work, we report the first production of two-dimensionally well-ordered oligopeptide monolayers on graphite substrates, in this case of oligo(N6-carbobenzyloxy-L-lysine), by a simple spin-coating process and the characterization of their structures by atomic force microscopy. We have succeeded in building two-dimensionally well-ordered strip array monolayer films of the OBCL oligopeptide on graphite substrates. The ordered strip array monolayer structure and its assembly mechanism were examined in detail.
