제목 | Synthesis and characterization of Cu2ZnSnS4(CZTS) nanocrystals by sulfurizing microwave-assisted precursors |
초록 | Cu2ZnSnS4 nanocrystals have been synthesized by microwave-assisted precursors and further annealed in sulfurized atmosphere route. The microwave-assisted precursors were obtained from solutions containing copper(II) acetate monohydrate, zinc acetate dihydrate, tin(II) chloride dihydrate, and thioacetamide with stirring for 10 minute. The effect of sulfurizing temperature from 150°C to 600°C on the structural, compositional, optical and morphological properties of CZTS nanocrystals were investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns showed the polycrystalline CZTS nanocrystals with tetragonal structure over 550°C. However, nanocrystals, which were synthesized below 500°C, exhibited the mixed polycrystalline CZTS nanocrystals and minor CuS phase. Energy dispersive X-ray results showed that the microwave-assisted precursors and sulfurized nanocrystals were Cu rich and S poor chemical composition. From UV-Vis, the optical band gap energy of the annealed precursors over 550°C were near 1.5 eV. We also confirmed the formation of CZTS nanosized particles by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). |
