제목 Preparation and Characterization of Surface Treated Hollow Glass Microsphere Filled Thermoplastic polyurethane Composite
초록 Hollow glass microspheres (HGMs) consist of outer stiff glass and inner inert gas, which results in some unique properties, such as light weight, low thermal conductivity. Based on these properties, HGMs have been used in the fabrication of polymer composite materials for different applications. In this study, MDI based TPU composite materials consisted of HGM was fabricated and characterized. To enhanced interfacial bonding strength between HGM and TPU matrix, the surface of HGM was treated by using a silane coupling agent. And TPU-grafted-HGM was also fabricated to achieve the interface compatibility between the HGM and TPU matrix.
