In this paper, we present a simple fabrication approach for making 3D heterostructured Co3O4/rGO materials with highly layered pore architecture by an embossing technique using polystyrene (PS) spheres as structural guiding templates. By controlling the types of PS spheres and inorganic precursors, we have fabricated porous rGO films with tunable pore size, heterostructures, and thickness. The straightforward method suggested here in essence exploits the ability of 2D graphene sheets to self-assemble into 3D complex heterogeneous structures consisting of an interconnecting porous network with promising electrode features, such as a large surface area, easy accessibility to reaction sites, facilitated mass and ion transport, mechanical integrity, and the synergistic effects of multicomponents. |
