제목 Thermal Treatment for the Enhanced Polymer Photovoltaic Cell
초록 We have often seen that the researchers of polymer light emitting diode(PLED) applied the method of heat treatment in order to enhance the efficiency of PLED. Using the analogy between PLED and photovoltaic cell(PV cell), we used the annealing method to the purpose for the enhancement of efficiency of PV cell. First of all, we applied the system of MEH-PPV/PCBM blend and this blend was dissolved in chlorobenzene. Secondly, the basic structure is as follows - ITO glass/active layer/Al. By comparing the annealed devices with reference device, we checked the results. Of course, the acquired results did not correspond to the results that we predicted. However we almost came to the conclusions that we wanted. In other words, by the heat treatment we acquired the enhancement of efficiency of PV cell in the limited temperature. Especially, we found the mechanism or factor about this result. For this experiment, we used the solar simulator and the device measuring the quantum efficiency.
