Solution-Processible Cyclometalated Iridium(III) Phosphor containing a Carbazole for High-Efficiency Emitting OLEDs. |
초록 |
The synthesis and photophysical study of multifunctional phosphorescent dendric iridium(III) complex with a bulky carbazole substituent is reported. The ligands were prepared according to Suzuki coupling reaction. Then, the complexes were formed from the four-step reactions of the corresponding ligand with IrCl3H2O. Ir(bcdfbppy)3, (bcdfbppy)2Ir(acac) and (bcdfbppy)2Ir(pic) were used as dopant in compared with Ir(ppy)3. The complexes exhibited the luminescence peak at 511 nm and 533 nm. These iridium-based triplet emitters give a strong green phosphorescence light at room temperature with relatively short lifetimes in the solution phase. An organic light emitting diode with the structure of ITO/PEDOT/EML/BCP/Alq3/Liq/Al using the newly synthesized Ir(bcdfbppy)3 as green host-emitter was fabricated.
