제목 Synthesis and properties of Fluorene-besed copolymersfor organic solar cells
초록 Organic semiconducting polymers composed of Fluorene and Perylene for photovoltaic cells have been synthesized and characterized. Low band gap (LBG) materials have been synthesized through Pd(0) catalyzed Suzuki coupling polymerization by controlling the monomer ratios. The synthesized polymers were readily soluble in common organic solvents such as chlorobenzene, toluene, etc and formed uniform thin films after spin coating. The ratio of LBG material in copolymers made the peak and onset absorption of the copolymers moved to longer wavelength region so that energy band gaps of the copolymers became smaller. The maximum UV absorption of the polymer films ranged at 489~550 nm and the optical band gap energies are 1.94~1.85 eV. Energy levels of the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) were also determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Photovoltaic devices were fabricated using the copolymers as the p-type donor and C60-PCBM or C70-PCBM as the electron acceptors.
