The biodegradable polymer poly(L-lactide)(PLLA)was synthesized by a ring-opening polymerization of L-lactide with various CO2-philes of 1-dodecanol, 1H,1H-Perfluoro-1-decanol, monomethoxy polyethyleneglycol(molecular weight 550)(mPEG), poly(dimethylsiloxane) mono hydroxy terminated (PDMS-OH) and polypropyleneglycol monobutylether(molecular weight 1000)(buPPO) as an initiator. The bulk properties of these polymers were characterized by using 1H-NMR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography(GPC) and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). The results of chacterization indicate that the PEO-b-PLLA copolymers possess unimodal molecular weight distribution and high molecular weight PDMS-b-PLLA and PPO-b-PLLA were obtained. |
