Plasmonic effects from embedding metallic nanoparticles(NPs) in polymer solar cells (PSCs) have been studied by many researchers for solving limited light absorption problem in PSCs. In order to utilize metallic NPs in PSCs, many researchers have applied to interlayer of PSCs or blend them in BHJ active layer. In those studies, metallic NPs might have different dispersity in each layer because of different not only nature of ligands, but also amounts of ligands on metallic NPs, resulting different performance of PSCs. Here, we controlled the amounts of attached organic ligands on metallic NPs to control their dispersion behavior systematically in BHJ active layer of PSCs. Through the control of the number of capped organic ligands on metallic NPs, dispersity of metallic NPs in BHJ layer was finely controlled. |
