제목 Facile Fabrication of Reduced Graphene Oxide-MnO2 Nanocomposite Electrodes for Thin Film Supercapacitors via Pulsed White Light
초록 Hybridizing with nano-size metal oxide particles, reduced graphene oxide (RGO) promises excellent electrochemical properties for supercapacitors. However, energy consumptive process is the main problem originated from long/high-temperature heat treatment, as well as additional reduction process. We realize a novel process in fabricating RGO-MnO2 nanocomposite electrodes of thin film supercapacitors by employing intense pulsed light irradiation. This process has advantageous points as (i) cost effective, (ii) millisecond-scaled high-speed, and (iii) room-temperature condition. The pulse irradiation successfully forms the MnO2 nanoparticles in GO-Mn precursor solution and then to anchor homogeneously onto the RGO sheets being reduced by the light simultaneously. Resultant nanostructures are extensively analyzed and examined. The electrode conductivity, ~500-nm-sized MnO2 formation on the RGO flakes, and most importantly the high specific capacitance of ~275 F/g at 20 mV/s are measured.
