Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have provoked an extensive interest in the past few years due to their layer-dependent properties, such as radical scavenge and antioxidation. In this work, we fabricate a monodisperse poly (ethylene glycol) diacrylate hydrogel microparticles in which TMDs are physically immobilized in their meshes. Then, we incorporate quenchers to investigate how they affect the quenching efficiency through the hydrogel phase. Using them, we analyze their optical properties and durability of antioxidation activity. Finally, we propose that the TMDs-immobilized hydrogel microparticles are truly useful for exploring new biomolecular applications in the fields of dermatology and cosmetics. |
