제목 Characterization of blend membrane sPPO/PVdF for vanadium redox flow battery
초록 The vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB)  was actively researched because of their flexible capacity design and safety. The membrane is a main component of VRFB used in selectively conduct proton except other materials. But commercial membrane Nafion has high permeability of active material and high cost. In this study, blend membrane prepared for low permeability and low cost. The cation conducted polymer synthesised by sulfonation of hydrocarbon polymer(poly phenylene oxide, PPO) and blend with  poly vinylidene difluoride (PVdF) which has high mechanical strength. The blend membrane was characterized via dimensional stability, water uptake, conductivity, permeability unit cell performance test.
