제목 Preparation of thermo-sensitive PNIPAm-based hydrogel nano/microcapsules by soup free emulsion polymerization using surface-treated silica particles as templates
초록 Nano/micron-sized particles of temperature sensitive hydrogels are expected to exhibit very sharp transition or response to changes in environmental conditions. The silica core composite particles with PNIPAm hydrogel shell were prepared by using the method of electrostatic repulsion between particles. The nano/micro capsules which were prepared from the composite particles were studied in terms of properties and morphology. Modification and removal of silica core were confirmed by FT-IR spectra. The particle size was analyzed by using the dynamic laser scattering paticle size analyzer. The particles morphology was confirmed by the polarized microscope, SEM, and TEM.
