Holographic recording materials based on photopolymerizable systems have contributed significantly to the recent growth of high-density recording application. Particularly, photopolymerizable systems with a difunctional monomer improve the holographic recording property. New photopolymer film was prepared from solution containing 2-alkenoic acid, 2-methyl-, sulfonylbis(4,1–phenyleneoxycarbonyloxy-2,1-ethanediyl)ester (SO2EG), polysulfone, initiator, and a sensitizer. Photopolymer films having visible light sensitivity could be fabricated in thickness up to ∼200μm. Plane-wave-grating holograms were written into the photopolymer samples by interfering two collimated plane wave beam. The resulting holograms were monitored by the readout reference beam at 532nm wavelength with the signal beam blocked, the most accurated final-state diffraction measurements. Diffraction efficiency and holographic recording properties will be discussed. |
