Organic solar cells (OSCs) are currently an attractive field of research due to many advantages. At present, many studies have been conducted on designing materials and optimizing device structure. In inverted structure OSCs fabricated via solution process, hole transport layers (HTLs) such as PEDOT:PSS usually introduced onto photoactive layer with high conductivity and transparency. The energy level mismatch between photoactive layer and PEDOT:PSS causes charge recombination resulted in low Jsc and FF. The introduction of bilayer HTLs between photoactive layer and electrode can be good alternative that lowering direct corrosion and charge recombination with enhanced internal electric field. In this study, we fabricated OSCs with bilayer HTLs between photoactive layer and electrode to enhanced performance and stability in ambient atmosphere. As a result, the device with bilayer HTLs exhibited enhanced performance and stability than PEDOT:PSS based device. |
