제목 Physical and Thermal Properties of Segmented Polyurethaneureas Having Different Molecular Weight of Polyol
초록 Polyurethaneurea materials have been widely used in many products due to the diversity of the properties and processing technologies. Polyurethaneurea consists of hard and soft segments. The hard segments are generally urethane groups reacted with aromatic diisocyanate and the chain-extender with low molecular weight diol or urea groups reacted with aromatic diisocyanate and the chain-extender with low molecular weight diamine. Polyurethaneurea constitutes more stronger physical union than polyurethane so physical properties of polyurethaneurea are superior to polyurethane. In this study, polyurethaneurea were synthesized from 4,4′-methylene diphenylene diisocyanate, ethylenediamine, 1,2-diaminopropane, diethylenetriamine, diethylamine and polytetramethylene ether glycol with various molecular weights of 1800 and 2000. Also N,N’-dimethylacetamide was used for solvent in the synthesis. The segmental orientation behaviors have been studied mainly with the fourier-transform infrared spectrometer(FT-IR). Physical properties of polyurethaneurea were measured by utilizing DMA(Dynamic mechanical analysis), TGA(Thermo gravimetric analysis) and UTM(Universal Testing Machine). All the results obtained In this work show the properties of cross-linked polyurethaneurea and none cross-linked polyurethaneurea.
In elastic recovery part, none cross-linked polyurethaneurea is better than cross-linked polyurethaneurea and both of two poluurethaneurea have similar Tg.
