제목 Reactive hot melt polyurethane adhesive modified by non-polar acrylic copolymers
초록 Reactive hot melt adhesives(RHAs) combine the merits of conventional hot melts adhesive and structural thermosetting adhesives. Because RHA, which is one pot, can be applied as in traditional hot melt adhesives, it requires no mixing, and has excellent initial bond strength over traditional thermosetting adhesives. Best of all, they’re solvent free. To improve the bond strength of adhesives for non-polar materials, it is well-known that the adhesive should have non-polar segments together with strong polar segments. In this study, we prepared various acrylic copolymers which have both non-polar and strong polar repeating units and utilized these materials to modify the reactive hot melt polyurethane adhesive. Furthermore, we observed the effect of amounts of acrylic copolymer, polyester polyol, tackifier, chain extender, remained NCO group on the properties of RHA.
