Recently, opto-electronic devices have attracted attention due to the low fabrication cost, solution process and application of large area in flexible devices. In this study, we revealed that the performances of opto-electronic devices were improved by using simple solution processing. The work function of metal as electrode was changed by using the non-conjugated polymer (NCP) with a dipole moment. By treating solution of NCP, we can control surface energy of active layer and reduce the series resistant of device. In addition, the charge collection ability was improved by assembling the NCP as an electron transporting layer. Herein, we investigated the photovoltaic properties of polymer solar cells and the electroluminescent properties of polymer emitting diodes with polar NCP. |
