제목 | Design of Biodegradable Porous Membrane Morphology using Immersion Precipitation Method |
초록 | There are many applications of biodegradable membrane such as scaffolds, guided bone regeneration, wounded dressing and tissue adhesion barrier for tissue engineering and controlled drug release for drug delivery system. In applications of biodegradable membrane, the pore size and structure of membrane are very important factor. In our study, we prepared membrane by immersion precipitation method. And we control the pore size and structure of membrane with different variables(concentration of polymer; viscosity of polymer by mixing two kinds of PLGA which has different molecular weight; concentration of solvent; kind of solvent and non-solvent). We investigated that these variables have an effect on the structure of membrane. And we observed the relations between the pore size of membrane and the drug release profile using membrane loaded tetracycline as a model drug. Membrane structure was observed by scanning electron microscophy (SEM) and drug release profile was obtained by high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). |
