제목 Fabrication of hybrid nanocomposite films with superhydrophobic wood surfaces
초록 Unlike polymer or metal substrates, wood substrates can shrink or swell and cause substantial deformation due to the hydroscopic nature of cellulose Furthermore, it is currently necessary to improve the mechanical and chemical properties by improving the adhesion between hydrophobic and the substrate. In recent years, many methods have been developed to construct superhydrophobic surfaces that do not require a subsequent low surface energy treatment with some expensive reagent. Nonetheless, the practical application of superhydrophobic surfaces depends not only on simple and inexpensive manufacturing processes, but also on the robustness of the product's wettability. In this study, non-fluorinated superhydrophobic woods are fabricated using silicone and alumina hybrid nanocomposites. The effects of hydrophobic particels and additive and additive on adhesion and durability are investigated.
