제목 Enhanced Performance of Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Tandem Solar Cells Fabricated with Core-type Quantum Dots through Energy Transfer
초록 Organic tandem solar cells are currently attracting a great attention due to modify of absorption property and potential of high performance based on stacking two or more sub-cells. Among them, the organic-inorganic hybrid tandem solar cells enable add-up of photocurrent with broad absorption property. Quantum dots (QDs) and polymer hybrid active layer have recently received attention for their ability to improving quantum yield be favored to energy transfer from QDs to polymers.
In this study, hybrid tandem solar cells with polymers and core-type QDs were fabricated via solution process. When core-type QDs introduced in photoactive layer, they harvested more photon energy in near-ultraviolet and visible region, and transferred photon energy to polymers. As a result, photovoltaic performance was improved by increased Jsc, FF.
