제목 | The Synthesis of a Branched Amine Curing Agent and the Studies of the Physical Properties of the epoxy matrix including the Branched amine |
초록 | The preparation of high performance epoxy composites for industrial applications has been extensively researched. Amine curing agents are expected to greatly affect the curing reaction and properties of the epoxy resins. Especially, branched amines have found numerous advantages to improve physical properties. In this report, a series of epoxy compositions composed with xylylenediamine (XDA) and a branched amine curing agent (BACA) were prepared by mixing with bisphenol-A type epoxy resin. The prepared epoxy compositions were thermally cured in a metallic mold. The flexural strengths of the plastics were compared to each other. Furthermore, thermodynamic analysis will be discussed. |
