Preparation of palladium nano-cluster doped poly(vinylidenefluoride) catalytic membrane module and catalytic reaction for removal of dissolved oxygen in water |
초록 |
polymer materials doped nano-sized metal cluster are widely used in various technical applications such as catalytic reaction, sensors, and electronics industries. The porous poly(vinylidenefluoride) hollow fiber was used as a support material for immobilization of nano-sized palladium cluster. In this study, the nano-sized palladium doped poly(vinylidenefluoride) hollow fiber was used as a catalyst for removal of dissolved oxygen (DO) in water. The hydrogen used as a reducing agent is fed into the hollow fiber membrane reactor, while water containing dissolved oxygen flow through the shell side of nano-sized palladium doped poly(vinylidenefluoride) hollow fiber. The DO concentration in water diminished from 8.0 to 2.08 ppm using the 0.16 wt.% Pd-doped poly(cinylidenefluoride) catalytic membrane. |
