Recently, organic solar cells based on oligo-thiophene materials have attracted remarkable attention as achieving high power conversion efficiencies. Among of these derivatives, guaterthiophene derivatives have shown by pronounced properties such as electron-rich, good light harvesting, high crystallinity and excellent hole mobility. To increase solubility and extend absorption region, alkyl chains and acceptor unit was introduced. The donor-acceptor polymers synthesized via Stille coupling reactions and were investigated in terms of electrochemical, physical and optical properties. The fabricated devices were characterized under air mass 1.5G irradiation. |
