Porous biomaterials have complicated and connective network structure to transport body fluid. By using property, porous biomaterials are widely used for cell growing and generate new tissue for replace damaged tissue or organs. Conventional porous biomaterials interact with outer environment by only diffusion. In this study, we introduce magnetic field sensitive property to porous hydrogel for use stem cell delivery. When the magnetic field applied, stem cells will be released by magnetic field stimuli shrink and expand. Acrylamide and N,N'-methylenediacrylamide porous gel was successfully synthesized and RGD peptides are introduced to hydrogel for ensure cell binding. We confirmed that it shrinks and expands under magnetic forces when iron oxide nanoparticles are introduced into the hydrogel. |
