제목 Plasmon Activating Effective Biosensor using a Bio-Hybrid Ag/polymer Nanoparticle
초록 We experimentally demonstrated the surface plasmon (SP) assisted effective biosensor using core-shell hybrid nanoparticle (NP) consists of Ag (core) and organic materials (shell). We fabricate a core-shell NP in deionized (DI) water solution through sequentially process of reprecipitation and self-assembly method. We observed on the highly enhanced luminescence intensity of Ag/polymer hybrid NPs after the attached biomaterials such as DNA or protein, indicating the excitation of SP due to the existence of Ag NPs in core-shell NP. We analyze that the luminescence enhancement of hybrid NPs might originate from energy and/or charge transfer in a SP coupling and the strong electromagnetic field near Ag NP surface. The enhanced optical properties of the bio-hybrid Ag/polymer NP can be used as bio/chemical sensor systems in terms of the plasmon-assisted effective sensor.
