제목 Enhanced thermoelectric properties of p-type polymers with PEG side chain by solution doping
초록 Organic thermoelectrics have attracted considerable research interest because of mechanical flexibility, low-cost, solution processability at room temperature, etc. Especially the thermoelectric performance of p-type organic materials improves rapidly but meet with a difficulty because of the poor solubility. But the polymers with PEG side chain can make a good solution state even after doping. So introducing PEG chains, we can expect high dopant receptive capacity and better intermolecular packing. Here, we synthesized p-type polymers with PEG side chains to study the electrical characteristics by solution doping. We studied the electrical conductivity for doped thin films and the morphological changes by doping. Polaron states observed by UV absorbance and the conductivity was studied by 2 point or 4 point probe methods. The detailed film morphology of the pristine and doped polymer films were investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM).
