Graphene films are promising for transparent electrode; however, the limitations of graphene such as film extent and process compatibility, block the way of graphene film application in Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) displays. In this work, we integrated OLED display panel with graphene pixel electrodes. The integration substrate consist addressing metal lines under the planarization layer. A graphene film was synthesized by rapid thermal chemical vapor deposition on rolled copper, and transferred on the planarization layer. Thereafter, the graphene film was pixelated into pixel electrodes with size of 170μm x 300μm. The pixels were connected to external OLED driver, through trenched via holes and contact pad. Finally, we have demonstrated the integrated OLED display panel, 40mm x 40mm with the active area of 26mm x 26mm and are fabricating larger size panel, 90mm x 40mm with the active area of 75mm x 30mm. |
