EPDM-g-MA/PDMS copolymer was prepared by melt polymerization of maleated EPDM and polydimethylsiloxane-quaternary ammonium salt silane-7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) adduct (PST) and EMPEC and PEC composites were prepared by compounding HDPE with EPDM-g-MA/PDMS copolymer and carbon black (CB), respectively. EPDM-g-MA/PDMS copolymer was confirmed by measuring the FT-IR. The thermal and mechanical properties of the composites were measured and dispersion characteristics of CB in matrix resins show that the dispersion of CB in EMPEC was better than that of PEC composite. |
