Investigation of Electrochemical Properties and Oxidant Generation Performance on TiO2 Nanotube in Relation to Electrochemical Cathodic Polarization |

TiO2 Nanotube has emerged as one of the practical nanostructure material in the various applications such as photochemical water splitting, supercapacitor and lithium/sodium ion battery. Recently, it was reported that TiO2 Nanotube was utilized as an electrode for oxidant generation (e.g., Chlorine, Hydrogen peroxide and Ozone .etc.). An original strategy to use TiO2 Nanotube as an oxidant generation electrode is electrochemical cathodic polarization which enhances capacitive and electrocatalytic properties via electrochemical self-doping. In this study, it was investigated that the effect of electrochemical Cathodic polarization on TiO2 Nanotube focusing on its electrochemical properties and oxidant generation performance. |
