제목 | Polymerization Kinetics of Heptadecafluorodecyl (meth)acrylate in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide |
초록 | Recently, supercritical fluid technology has been used in the polymer industries including heterogeneous or homogeneous polymerization. Especially supercritical carbon dioxide is becoming an alternative medium to liquid solvent which is used in polymerization. Because of limited solubility of conventional polymer, only a few polymer such as amorphous fluoropolymer and polysiloxane can be polymerized homogeneously in scCO2. But polymerization kinetic study of these polymers in scCO2 is rare. Therefore we performed the kinetic study of poly(heptadecafluorodecyl acrylate) and poly(heptadecafluorodecyl methacrylate). We carried out solution polymerization using AIBN as the initiator at T=323K-343K and P=200-300bar. In this study we measured conversion into polymer with gravity method as a function of time. Also we calculated the AIBN decomposition rate constant and K value using radical polymerization model. |
