제목 Effect of hydrophilic moieties on structure and concentration in block copolymer morphologies
초록 Non-hydrophilic block copolymer with cylindrical maicrodomain, poly (styrene-block-methyl methacrylate), show a parallel orientation to the substrate without neutral brush layer. An appropriate hydrophilic moieties containing PS-b-PMMA thin films without brush layer exhibited excellent lateral ordered phase behavior similar to PEO-containing block copolymer such as PS-b-PEO and PS-b-PMMA-b-PEO by solvent annealing under controlled humidity (~ 90%). Star-like PEO polymer and homopolymer were used injection hydrophilic moieties in non-hydrophilic block copolymer. Surface morphologies of the thin films were depended on structure, molecular weight, and amount of hydrophilic matters. In addition, humidity conditions and evaporation rate at the solvent annealing process effected significantly on the ordering of the films. SEM, TEM, and XPS measurement were employed for analysis of film morphologies and phase separation behavior.
